Gingersnap ETC volunteers like most volunteers are very special people. They are busy people from all walks of life, who somehow manage to find time to help others. Some are parents of the residents, some are family, and some are people who just want to make a difference. We have men and women ... young and old and in between. It's quite a group.

The residents and volunteers of the Farm and THE CENTER Serving Persons With Mental Retardation are so grateful to you, our faithful supporters.

We want to tell you about the wonderful achievements we have accomplished with the proceeds from the sale of gingersnaps, cheesesnaps and fruitcakes.Most of you already know about our wheelchair accessible bus named The Gingersnapmobile . Now we have a wheelchair accessible van and Snappy One, an 8 passenger golf cart to help those needing a little extra help getting around.

Our organic farm also needed some special equipment so we purchased the following heavy farm equipment : A four wheel drive farm vehicle, an automatic row maker, and a mulcher/ planter. The artisan program needed a new candle maker and a new commercial blender to make the paper pulp for the ornaments. Equipment and improvements have been provided to all programs of THE CENTER. We have also made more than $800,000 available for scholarships. The volunteers were only able to do this because of your loyal support. In total Gingersnaps ETC. has contributed more than 1 Million dollars. Many, many thanks from the residents, volunteers, and staff of The Center/Willow River Farms.
